I photograph weddings in Berlin in a natural, unobtrusive way. My approach is documentary: I pay attention to the people, small gestures, atmosphere and moments that happen between the planned parts of your day. As a wedding photographer in Berlin, I work at civil ceremonies, church weddings, celebrations and smaller gatherings. I do not want your wedding to feel like a photo production. Instead, I give you space to experience the day while I photograph what is happening around you. I have been shooting professionally since 2003 and can work in German, English or Bulgarian.
A wedding reportage brings the whole day together rather than focusing only on individual portraits. I photograph the preparations, ceremony, congratulations, guests, details, dinner, dancing and the quieter moments in between. We can also plan a couple shoot during the wedding day. This gives you some time together away from your guests without turning the session into a long interruption. I guide you when needed, but I prefer photographs that still feel like you. My studio in Berlin-Lichtenberg is also available when you need a place for a separate couple shoot.
I also photograph destination weddings outside Berlin. If you are planning a wedding elsewhere, we can discuss the location, schedule and the way you would like the day documented. The same principle applies whether your wedding takes place in Berlin or abroad: I photograph the real flow of the day and leave room for things to happen naturally. If you are travelling for your wedding, I can work with your plans and adapt the photography to the setting and timetable.
For couples looking specifically for wedding photography, I also work under the separate brand My Art Wedding. It is dedicated to wedding photography and has its own presentation. My studio is at Karl-Lade-Strasse 36 in Berlin-Lichtenberg, with free parking and a changing room. After your wedding, your finished images are ready within five working days.
