Fashion lives in the moment between two poses. I photograph people and clothing so that both come across – with light that shows character, and images that work on a campaign wall just as well as in a lookbook.
As a fashion photographer in Berlin, I work with designers, labels, models and creative teams. My work covers editorials, lookbooks, sedcards, model portfolios and beauty photography. Depending on the purpose of the shoot, I work with a controlled studio setup or use an outdoor location where the surroundings become part of the image. I take time to understand what you need from the pictures before we start. A model portfolio needs a different approach from an editorial story or a lookbook.
For an editorial, I work with you to create a consistent visual idea across the series. For lookbooks, the clothing remains central, with clear images that allow details, silhouettes and combinations to be seen. A sedcard or model portfolio requires a useful range of portraits and looks, showing different sides of the person in front of the camera. Beauty photography can be more precise, with particular attention to skin, hair, makeup and light.
My studio is in Berlin-Lichtenberg, at Karl-Lade-Strasse 36. There is free parking and a changing room, which makes changing between outfits straightforward. If the images need more space, natural light or a particular environment, I also photograph outdoors in Berlin. We can discuss the location before the shoot and decide what fits the clothing and the intended visual style.
Before the shoot, we discuss the concept, clothing, looks, location and the type of images you need. I work in German, English and Bulgarian, so communication is straightforward. During the session, I give clear direction when needed while leaving room for natural movement and expression. Your finished pictures are ready within five working days.
